Unity School District is Hiring a Middle School Science/Math/Language Arts Teacher!
09/08/20 3:52 pmUnity School District is looking for candidates that can teach multiple sections of either math or science. The teacher will also teach one class period of language arts.
Position: Full-time Middle School Teaching position available beginning as soon as possible for the 2020-21 school year.
Qualifications Necessary: Qualified applicants of high character should possess a high level of content knowledge in language arts, but willingness and desire to teach other classes and grade levels as needed; believe all students can learn and that teachers play an active role in the learning process; display strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills; enjoy working with middle school age children; be willing to collaborate with colleagues and be dedicated individuals who exhibit a strong desire to improve student learning.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of best teaching practices, will make data-based decisions, will use technology as a tool for learning, will be familiar with academic standards, and will personalize instruction to meet individual student needs.
Knowledge of effective classroom management is essential.
Requirements: Prefer Wisconsin licensure to teach Elementary 1-8. Will also consider candidates with a certification to teach math or science at the secondary level.
