Marion School District - Cross Categorical Special Education Teacher Position

The Marion School District is seeking a full-time Cross Categorical Special Education Teacher to join the team beginning with the 2024-25 school year.

The Marion School District serves 480 students in grades PK-12 from Marion, Wisconsin, the local communities of Caroline, Big Falls, Leopolis, Pella, and the surrounding rural areas in Shawano and Waupaca counties. Marion offers students a high-quality comprehensive education in a small school environment including small class sizes, responsive instruction with quick access to instructional supports, a high-quality special education department for students with special needs, and a music and arts program district-wide. 

The successful candidate will strive to inspire and instill lifelong learning for all students. They should possess excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to academic excellence, provide academic support for the individual needs of his or her students, and foster positive interactions with students and fellow employees. Candidates must be a collaborative colleague who effectively builds relationships with students, staff members, families, and the community. The best candidate will have knowledge of current educational methodology and practices. The ideal candidate will be committed to high student achievement, continuous professional dialogue & growth and using data to improve student outcomes. The candidate must also demonstrate consistent proficiency in the components within the Danielson Model for Educator Effectiveness.
